Planning a wedding today often begins with endless inspiration, from images saved, ideas imagined, and a vision for how the celebration should feel. But bringing those ideas to life in a way that feels cohesive and effortless takes more than a list of vendors.
At Something Borrowed, we approach weddings as a fully integrated design experience. By bringing planning, design, and details together under one roof, we’re able to guide the vision for your celebration while designing the elements that bring it to life.
Weddings and events have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I delivered flowers with my family's flower shop and watched firsthand the care, trust, and emotion that goes into every celebration. I saw how a flawless guest experience made an impact far beyond the wedding day, and how a missed detail could unravel an entire moment. That early education in attention to detail never left me. I went on to study Communications and Psychology in college before spending five years in corporate event planning, honing my skills in logistics and project management, while missing the piece that lit me up: design.
What started with designing signage and paper goods for weddings across Rhode Island slowly grew into something bigger. Since 2021, I’ve now been part of 400+ weddings, building trusted vendor partnerships, refining my approach, and learned exactly what elevates a celebration, and what derails it.
But the more weddings I was part of, the more I realized something: while I loved the creative work, what mattered most to me were the relationships. I loved guiding couples, being the steady presence and seeing the full picture come together.
I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to hand someone your wedding plans, your family dynamics, and your vision. I work hard because this matters to me and because I know how much it matters to you.
